Mark Lederhos

I’ve worked with small and medium sized companies for over 25 years in a variety of fast-moving markets. From greenfield start-ups to more mature businesses, I’ve seen a few things. I have hands-on experience in strategic planning, M&A, turnarounds, enterprise portfolio analysis, business development, marketing, sales, account management, partner programs, joint ventures, financial analysis & management. I’m at my best analyzing how a business can position itself in its target market for maximum impact. Applying this approach has helped me to capitalize on opportunities and develop innovative strategies that drive value.

I worked on the leadership teams of several technology start-ups, building the businesses up and then identifying synergistic acquisition partners. Along the way, I worked with some great teams. We  navigated through real world business challenges regularly giving us the opportunity to accumulate a wealth of experiences that included some setbacks but also many great successes.

I then made a professional pivot and led an innovation lab overseeing a portfolio comprised of several social enterprises at a leading national high-capacity non-profit organization serving mission based multi-family developers. I worked directly with the Executive Management Team and with the Board of Directors' Investment & Asset Management Committee. My work there culminated in finding a strategic buyer to acquire one of the organization's social enterprises at a significant premium over book value.

I am a graduate of the University of Massachusetts/Amherst and earned my MBA from Babson College’s Olin School of Management – US News & World Report's number 1 program in entrepreneurship for 29 consecutive years.

I strive to use my experience to help small and medium sized business identify their strengths, maximize their enterprise value and expand their options.
